DALLAS GALE JOHNSON

DALLAS GALE JOHNSON, the widower of the late Lois Newton Johnson, and the son of the late Hubert and Edna Estes Johnson, was born in Estill County, Kentucky on July 16, 1942, and departed this life at his home in Beattyville, Kentucky on April 1, 2025, at the age of 82 years, 8 months and 16 days. He was a retired munitions production worker for the Bluegrass Army Depot, formerly attended the Miller’s Creek Baptist Church, and was a Vietnam Army veteran.

    Mr. Johnson is survived by four children, Darvin, Darrin, and Russell Johnson, all of Beattyville, and Rebecca Johnson of Irvine, Kentucky; 9 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; two sisters, Nancy Teagarden of Falmouth, Kentucky and Faye Stewart of Irvine; and a host of other relatives and friends.

  In addition to his parents and his wife, Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

   Services held April 7th, 2025 at Newnam Funeral Home of Beattyville. Burial in Cob Hill Cemetery of Cob Hill RD, Irvine, KY. Newnam in charge of arrangements.
