Timmy Dale Brandenburg

,    Timmy Dale Brandenburg husband of Linda Jent Brandenburg and son of the late Carlos and Golda Kendrick Brandenburg was born in Lee County, Kentucky on January 31, 1946 and departed this life in Hazard, Kentucky on May 22, 2025 at the age of 79 years, 3 months, and 22 days.

     He was a man of unwavering faith, boundless curiosity, and tireless work ethic. Throughout his extraordinary life, Mr. Brandenburg wore many hats-

each one with humility, integrity, and purpose. Some of the jobs that he held throughout his life were insurance salesman, real estate broker, heating and

air repairman, and former preacher. He also enjoyed flying and was a licensed pilot. His most recent title to add to his long list of accomplishments, was author, having just finished his book, “Cutter’s Edge: Increasing Your Knowledge In Meat.”

In addition to his wife, Linda of Blackey, Kentucky, Mr. Brandenburg

leaves behind his daughter, Michelle Brandenburg of Davison, Michigan; two grandsons, Charles Shannon Chappell of Lexington, Kentucky and Darron Lee Sturgill of Winchester, Kentucky; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

   He was preceded in death by his parents, Carlos and Golda Brandenburg and several brothers and sisters. A graveside service was held on Friday, May 30 th with Rev. Ricky Isaacs officiating at the Brandenburg Cemetery. Newnam Funeral Home was in

charge of the arrangements.
