Geneva Brandenburg

Geneva Brandenburg, daughter of the late Elisha and Dona Pittman Webb, was born in Lee County, Kentucky on February 17, 1934, and departed this life at the University of Kentucky Medical Center on July 26, 2025, at the age of 91 years, 5 months and 6 days. Geneva was a devoted and loving housewife, daughter, mother, sister, grandmother and friend to all who knew her. She was a long-time member of the Pine Crest First Church of God, where she exemplified the love of Christ to the church and everyone she met, whether they were a member or a first-time guest. Geneva was a devout Christian, a devoted wife, sister, mother and grandmother. In addition to her parents and husband Caught, she was preceded in death by three sisters Hazel Yunker, Rosie Tipton, and Bert Turner; three brothers Roy Webb, Owen Webb, and Odus Webb; and one grandson Joe Allen Slone. She is survived by her children, four daughters; Melody (Roger) Slone, Carolyn Slone (And late husband Jack) Jackie Couch (And late husband Walter) Bonnie Brandenburg, one son; Junior Brandenburg (Karen) and a grandson whom she thought as her own, Randy (Samantha) Brandenburg all of Beattyville. Eight grandchildren; Sherry (John) Profit, Crystal (Kenny) Brewer, Robert (Tiffany) Couch, Amy Couch Collins, Randy (Samantha) Brandenburg, Amber Brandenburg and Mikie Moore, all of Beattyville, Kentucky and Angie Slone of Richmond, Kentucky. Also surviving are fifteen great-grandchildren: Kelsey, Kamryn, Alex, Zeke, Jayden, Skylar, Hunter, Hallie, Harper, Cali, Ethan (Brianna), McKenzie, Brantley, Serena and Payton. Geneva also leaves behind a host of loving nieces, nephews, friends, relatives and special neighbors. She will be missed and lovingly remembered by her family, church family and friends.
Services held Thursday July 31st, 2025 at Newnam Funeral Home. Burial in Webb Cemetery of Old Landing Evelyn Rd. Lee County. Newnam in charge of arrangements.
