Felon Arrested After Search by Lee County Sheriff Dept

     On July 29, 2025, the Lee County Sheriff’s Department executed a search at the residence of William Shane Addison (pictured) on KY Hwy 399 following an ongoing investigation.

     During the search, deputies discovered and seized multiple firearms and illegal narcotics. 

     Addison, a previously convicted felon, was taken into custody at the scene.

     He has been charged with the following offenses:

  - Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree (1st Offense – Methamphetamine, 2 grams)

  - Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree (2nd Offense – 10 dosage units of opiates)

  - Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon

  - Tampering with Physical Evidence

  - Resisting Arrest

     The investigation remains ongoing, and additional charges may be pending.



All are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law
