Local Student Earns KY Farm Bureau Scholarship

Kentucky Farm Bureau in partnership with county Farm Bureaus awarded 601 college, technical, and proprietary scholarships this year totaling $810,150.
The scholarships were awarded to recipients who displayed the greatest levels of academic excellence, involvement in extracurricular activities, leadership abilities, and financial need.
The Lee County Farm Bureau Federation $500 Scholarship was awarded to Emily Lutes. Lutes is a 2025 Lee County High School graduate and a former Lee County Bat Kat.
Robert McKinney is the Kentucky Farm Bureau Agent in Lee County located at 106 Main Street in Beattyville.
